Why?
ARAUNY has brought you fascinating speakers on important and timely topics such as
- Anthony Marr on "Global Warming and Mass Extinction"
- Attorney Dana Campbell on NYS Animal Cruelty Laws
- Harold Brown and Adam Durand on "Animal Advocacy: Working Together with Different Approaches - the State of the Movement"
- and more...
In 2009 alone we had numerous demonstrations and outreach projects, including
- BARK Puppy Mill Awareness Day
- a march to support Easter Seals who earned PCRM's Humane Charity Seal of Approval
(They don't test on animals.) - protests of animal circuses and a public vigil in Washington Square Park to raise awareness of animal abuse
- fur and animal skin awareness demonstrations
Your ARAUNY Board is already planning for next year. Look for events now and in the coming year at .
So, please bring your bags of cans to Eco Bella. It's easy, it's free for you, and it will help the animals!
