Sibley Place (1 block east of Alexander St, opposite Prince St, off East Ave). Parade routes up East Ave, to Liberty Pole, west on Main St., ends at S. Plymouth (near Hochstein Music School)

Sponsored by Rochester Labor Council. Join ARAUNY as we support the unions of Rochester, NY.

Wear an animal costume or mask (ARA has some), wear an AR shirt of your choice, carry an AR banner. ALL SIGNS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BY ARAUNY FIRST

Come be a voice for the animals. Join us Monday, 9/6/04, for the annual Rochester Labor Day Parade.

Time to be decided.
Farm Sanctuary is located in Watkins Glen, NY. Carpool location to be decided.
See how animals live and grow when they're treated with care. Take a tour of the sanctuary and interact with the cows, chickens, pigs, goats, sheep and much more! You'll even have some play-time with the pigs and get to pet the cows. All interested people are welcome!

February 29 (Sunday): Mad Cow: Stop the Madness, by Dr. Michael Greger
3 p.m. (Hoyt Auditorium, Bldg. #9, University of Rochester), and

Both events are FREE. We welcome all farmers, health care professionals, students and the general public. Audience questions are encouraged.

Michael Greger, MD, Expert Witness from Texas Mad Cow Trial, is the Mad Cow Coordinator for the Organic Consumers Association and the Chief BSE Investigator for Farm Sanctuary. Dr. Greger has been speaking publicly about mad cow disease since 1993. He has debated the National Cattlemen's Beef Association before the FDA and was invited as an expert witness at Oprah Winfrey's infamous "meat defamation" trial. He has contributed to many books and articles on the subject and continues to lecture extensively. Dr. Greger is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Agriculture and the Tufts University School of Medicine. For more see VeganMD.org.
